Our Family Web Page!

Hi everyone. I guess it is about time for me to update this web page again. I seem to get around to doing it once a year. I apologize for that. All I will promise at this point is I will try to update it more often. Sometimes life gets a little busy and I lose track of time. Anyway, we have had a lot going on as usual. Our big summer trip this year was down to Savannah, GA and Tybee Island, GA. Needless to say we had so much fun, and it was hard to leave and come back home. The weather was perfect, the ocean was stunningly beautiful, Savannah was everything we hoped it would be, and we even stayed on budget!!!!!! The only thing that we were disappointed in was the food. There was only one restaurant that we enjoyed. Other than that we prefered to eat at the beach house we rented. Most of the pictures on this web site will be from our vacation. I hope you like them.

This is a picture of the kids having lunch at The Whistle Stop Cafe in downtown Savannah, GA. The restaurant is an old train dining car. The kids loved it, and thought it was a lot of fun to be eating lunch on a train car.

We are all gearing up for the start of school again. Of course if school was the only thing starting up then we wouldn't be too stressed out. However, we also have soccer (yes, I am coaching again), flute practice, piano practice, voice lessons, girl scouts, and karate starting up in August as well. Ugh! I think I know why people lose their hair in their thirties. Somehow we will keep up with everything.

Jenny is working as a nanny while she continues her education, and I am still working at BlueCross/BlueShield. I am moving up in the company, and am now a configuration specialist. The one thing I have noticed as I have received promotions is that the higher up you move in a company the more meetings you have to attend. It is insane the number of meetings I go to every day now. On average I have three meetings at least each day. Of course they give us more and more work to get done, but we also have to attend all these meetings. It can be very frustrating to say the least.

Jenny wanted me to take some black and white pictures while we were on vacation, so this was my first attempt with the kids. Downtown Savannah is very unique in that the city has 21 parks spread around the downtown area. We stopped in one of them and I snapped this picture. I think the kids were pretty tired of me taking their picture so much on vacation. I couldn't help myself.

I guess that is about it for now. I hope you enjoy this web site. If you see any errors please let me know. I will try to correct them as quickly as I can. Take care, and I hope everyone is doing well.
